WHAT: A 13-acre Lifestyle Center, featuring 200,000-square-feet
of upscale shops, restaurants, a grocery store and hotel,
and other select retailers.
WHO: Developer is Sky
West Investment, Inc. – a real estate investment
and development firm with offices in Los Angeles, California
and Minden, Nevada. Managing Director, Jeffrey
Lowden, was born and raised in Northern Nevada and
is committed to bringing quality developments to the area.
Additionally, the team of professionals working on the Minden
Gateway Center are mostly from businesses based in Northern

traffic and visible corner of Highways 395 and 88 in the
town of Minden, Nevada -- the heart of Carson Valley
WHY: To fulfill a need for upscale shopping
and dining in the Carson Valley corridor, specifically Minden
and Gardnerville. To be responsive to the Northern Nevada
economic vision regarding the need for additional retail
stores and restaurants, and to create new job opportunities.
WHEN: Land Development is expected to be
started and completed by the end of 2007.
Construction is scheduled to commence in January 2008.
Opening of the Center is expected Summer 2008.

AREA INFO: The Minden Gateway Center is
strategically located at the intersection of Douglas County’s
two major highways, where over 39,000 vehicles pass daily,
