Jeffrey Lowden, Managing Director;
Sky West Investments, Inc
Born and raised in Incline Village, Nevada, Jeff’s
experience spans the globe including conducting business
in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, in addition to the
United States.
He has over 17 years of expertise in real estate development,
finance and management.
Jeff started his career with Lands of Sierra, a subsidiary
of Sierra Power Company, and was
a member of the team responsible for developing Reno’s
first Home Depot along with adjacent shops and restaurants.
In 1999, he started Sky West Real Estate Services, LLC and
has developed several successful commercial, retail and
residential properties throughout California, Nevada and
Idaho. Jeff attended Reno High School and went on to receive
his MBA in Real Estate Finance and Construction Management
from the University of Denver.

Darrin Berger, Project Architect
(Hannafin Design Architects)
Fourth-generation Carson City native, Darrin Berger, has
extensive experience designing retail developments in Northern
Nevada. His projects include Carson Valley Plaza, North
Carson Crossing, Market Street, and the Harley Davidson
Dealership (scheduled for completion winter, 2007). His
expertise includes working with an array of clients from
both the public and private sector. Darrin’s goal
as an architect is to create comfortable and energizing
“people places” and to honor the history of
the area. Therefore, he was a natural choice as architect
for the Minden Gateway Center. Darrin graduated from Carson
High School and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He received his Masters Degree in Architecture from the
University of Utah, and is a Nevada Registered Architect.

Jeremy J. Hutchings, P.E., Engineering
Manager (R.O. Anderson)
Jeremy has extensive experience in designing commercial
and institutional sites throughout Northern Nevada and Eastern
California. He is a Professional Engineer with R.O. Anderson,
a well-established engineering firm with deep roots in Douglas
County, Nevada. Jeremy is an innovative-thinker and is passionate
about his commitment to designing a smart solution for each
development he oversees. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree
in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine-Orono
and is a registered Professional Engineer in both California
and Nevada.

Michael Ornelas, Broker (Coldwell Banker Village
Realty, Lake Tahoe)
A Northern Nevada resident for over 20 years, Michael’s
knowledge of the rapidly-growing Carson Valley region and
the Lake Tahoe area as well as his experience as a successful
real estate broker make him the ideal professional to lead
the leasing efforts at the Minden Gateway Center. An expert
in representing commercial developments and selling residential
properties, Michael contributes his success to understanding
a company or client’s needs and goals, and then finding
the best location for their business or storefront. Michael
is a Certified International Property Specialist and is
committed to researching and exploring emerging markets
throughout the world in all aspects of real estate, including
retail, commercial, mixed-use and residential.
